Il direttore artistico e ideatore del festival ha dichiarato: <<Ho conosciuto Carmelo Imbesi e Carmen Zangarà in occasione dei provini del mio film “L’altra metà di me sei tu”. Lì ho apprezzato sin da subito il grande talento di questi due ragazzi che avevo immaginato fossero una coppia per l’affiatamento che sentivo a pelle nell’ascoltarli cantare e suonare.
